By accessing or using NimbusLab you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

NimbusLab provides free amateur meteorological observation tools and reference content for civilian, non-professional use only. The site is not a substitute for professional weather services, official warnings, aviation forecasts, or maritime meteorological advice. See Section 11.

You may use the tools for personal study, hobby observation, and educational purposes. Automated scraping that imposes load on third-party public APIs we rely on is prohibited. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially repackage raw tool output as a paid product without prior written permission.

You agree not to reverse-engineer the tools for the purpose of building a competing product, not to redistribute substantial tool content without attribution, and not to use NimbusLab in any way that could harm other users or third-party services.

Tools and content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Atmospheric data fetched from third-party APIs may be delayed, modeled, interpolated, or otherwise inaccurate. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NimbusLab and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Some tools query free public APIs (such as Open-Meteo) and some pages display ads served by third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense). Use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. See our Privacy Policy for details on how third-party data is handled.

All tool logic, interface design, illustrations, articles, and the NimbusLab name and logo are owned by the NimbusLab operator or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may quote brief excerpts for non-commercial use provided you attribute the source and link back to the original page.

We may update these terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.

We may suspend or restrict access to any user that abuses the platform, violates these terms, or places unreasonable load on our upstream API providers.

NimbusLab is an amateur hobby resource. Nothing on this site constitutes professional meteorological, aviation, marine, agricultural, safety, or emergency advice. For decisions where weather matters to life, property, or livelihood, consult an official meteorological authority (such as your national weather service) or a qualified professional. Do not rely on NimbusLab tools for safety-critical decisions.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or your use of NimbusLab shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and any notices or policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and NimbusLab regarding your use of the site.
